  • 1962: Picture Butte Auction Mart is opened by the Juris and Perlich families

  • December 8, 1962: First sale at Picture Butte Auction 

  • 1967: Perlich family leaves to pursue their own venture. Juris family becomes sole owners of auction

  • July 2001: Dunsbergen family purchases  the auction. Auction renamed - Picture Butte Auction Market 2001 Ltd

  • April 2021: Auction purchased by Brad de Leeuw, Clint de Leeuw, & David Slingerland. Renamed: Picture Butte Auction Ltd

  • 2025: Clint de Leeuw leaves to pursue other ventures. Brad de Leeuw & David Slingerland current co-owners of auction
